On August 5, 2008, the EPA response community lost our dear friend Richard (Dick) Brophy. Dick served us well for many years as a training coordinator on the Environmental Response Training Program (ERTP). Dick was highly involved in the Exercise and Incident Command System program, and worked tirelessly to meet the needs of the regions and students. He also was highly involved with the community and served as a local firefighter. For those that would like to pay honor to Dick, there will be a poster and scrapbook set up at the ERTP table in the Tech Zone. We invite everyone to sign the poster and/or scrapbook, and to bring additional photos to add to the scrapbook.
So if you have a photo you would like to add to the scrapbook, please bring it with you to OSC Readiness. After Readiness the poster and scrapbook will be delivered to Dick's wife Pam, so that Dick's family will know how much he was appreciated.
