Stone Mountain Park: Stone Mountain Park is a green oasis where families and friends can enjoy the outdoors together. Listed in Frommer's 500 Places to Visit with Your Kids Before They Grow Up and cited by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as one of "35 Natural Wonders in Georgia You Must See Before You Die," Stone Mountain Park is located just 16 miles east of downtown Atlanta. The five square mile park is Georgia's most visited attraction. Home to the world's largest piece of exposed granite, Stone Mountain Park offers a variety of attractions, entertainment and recreation. Georgia Aquarium: As the world's largest aquarium, Georgia Aquarium features more animals than any other aquarium in more than eight million gallons of water. World of Coca-Cola: The World of Coca-Cola at Pemberton Place is the only place where you can explore the complete story - past, present and future - of the world's best-known brand. With 60,000 square feet for you to explore, the World of Coca-Cola features more than 1,200 artifacts from around the world that, until now, have never been displayed to the public. Around every corner you'll experience something new and inviting. You'll see great interactive exhibits such as a thrilling, multi-sensory 4-D movie (3D glasses with moving seats) and a fully functioning bottling line. And of course, a World of Coca­Cola favorite - the tasting experience, will give you a refreshing opportunity to sample over 60 different products from around the world. All this and much more make the World of Coca­Cola a unique and must-see Atlanta experience! A visit of the entire attraction is estimated to last an average of 90 minutes. Inside CNN Atlanta: Journey into the heart of CNN Worldwide and get an up-close look at global news in the making! Inside CNN is a 55-minute guided walking tour with exclusive, behind-the-scenes views of Atlanta's CNN studios and a glimpse of news and broadcasting. It is located approximately 10 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.

APEX Museum: APEX is an acronym for African American Panoramic Experience. This title is fitting in that it embodies the mission of the APEX - to interpret and present history from an African American perspective in order to help all Americans and international visitors better understand and appreciate the contributions of African Americans to America as well. The APEX has played host to a series of fascinating exhibits from its first, entitled "Field to Factory: Afro-American Migration from 1925-1949," to its most recent displays on Black Inventors and art exhibits featuring noted professional artists that have or had ties with historically black colleges and universities. It is located approximately 9 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.

Atlanta Botanical Garden: The mission of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. Springtime sees Moore in America, the largest exhibition of monumental, bronze outdoor sculpture of Henry Moore, and the new Visitor Center and Garden Gift Shop, green parking facility and new gardens opening. Chastain Park Amphitheatre: Chastain Park Amphitheater has become an Atlanta tradition. Home of the Delta Classic Chastain series, the amphitheater has worn many faces, including its current one as a summer tradition for making musical memories. Now in its 64th season, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is considered one of America's premier orchestras. Under the leadership of Music Director Robert Spano and Principal Guest Conductor Donald Runnicles, the Grammy Award-winning ASO is well known for the excellence of its live performances and recordings, as well as its renowned choruses. Centennial Olympic Park: This unique 21-acre park performs a dual mission: it serves as Georgia's lasting legacy of the Centennial Olympic Games and it anchors efforts to revitalize residential and commercial development in Georgia's capital city of Atlanta. The Park sponsors community-wide free events, including the Fourth of July Celebration, Wednesday Wind Down concert series and Fourth Saturday Family Fun Days. These events, in addition to the normal day-to-day traffic, bring an estimated three million visitors to this urban oasis each year. It is located 9 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.

Zoo Atlanta: Zoo Atlanta has evolved from a quaint picnic stop where people gawked at wild animals to a modern-day destination seeking to teach the public about its animal ambassadors and work for the preservation of their wild counterparts. Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site: A few blocks to the east of downtown, the Sweet Auburn neighborhood is home to the birthplace of America's most influential Civil Rights leader. Operated by the National Park Service, this historic site contains Dr. King's boyhood home, his crypt and the Ebenezer Baptist Church. It is located 10 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.

Atlanta History Center: This Buckhead attraction features 32 acres of gardens, wildlife trails and woodland areas. The complex includes the 1840s Tullie Smith Farm, a fully restored 1928 Swan House mansion and Swan Coach House restaurant. The museum features exhibitions on subjects such as the Civil War, African-American heritage, and Southern folk art. The Atlanta History Center includes a wing dedicated to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. It is located 2 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.

High Museum of Art: Located in an outstanding architectural landmark, this museum displays a collection that includes a growing body of contemporary art, sculpture and decorative arts, five centuries of European painting and sculpture and tribal African art such as masks and ceremonial figures. Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum: Take a stirring journey through time in Atlanta's Cyclorama. Sit at the center of a sweeping panorama of the Battle of Atlanta, fought on July 22, 1864, during the American Civil War. When you visit the Cyclorama in Atlanta's Grant Park you can also see artifacts of the war displayed in the Civil War Museum and a steam locomotive known as the Texas, a veteran of the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862. Come and see the largest painting in the world! It is located 12 miles from the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta.
