Monday Night Pub Crawl

Atlanta and especially the Buckhead area has an amazing assortment of bars, pubs, clubs, lounges and taverns. It can be overwhelming to figure out where to go next. Well, Region 4 is here to help you. Buckhead is not the same as it was a few years ago when the 20 something crowd thought it was the Mecca of Atlanta nightlife. However, we'll show you Buckhead is still a fun place to crawl and see some great spots that have nothing to do with peach trees! We cannot possibly hit all of these, but they are walking distance (some are a long walk) from the hotel and we'll hit a few of the good ones Monday.

Possible stops include:

  • Rock Bottom Brewery - (great brew pub)
  • McKinnon's (Nawlin's food, upscale)
  • Hole in the Wall (just what it says)
  • Moon Dogs (Live music, Texas Hold'em, dancing)
  • Peachtree Tavern (live music, great bands, not open till 9 p.m)
  • Stout Irish Pub (local joint)
  • Fado' Irish Pub (a small chain)
  • Black Bear Tavern (neighborhood place with darts)
  • Beluga Martini Bar (very cool and very $$$$)
  • Sambuca (great Jazz and very $$$$)
  • The Tavern (at Phipps Plaza mall, but patio dining
  • Twist (also at Phipps - martini bar)
  • Dante's Down the Hatch - An Atlanta MUST: The outside appears to be a group of shanties along a wharf and once in the door you find yourself on a pier. Below you, water filled with snapping turtles and alligators and directly in front is a pirate ship with full rigging. In the hold of the ship is a jazz combo which you can enjoy while munching on any number of Dante's well handled specialties - fondue
